Junior Young Achievers'
First Camping Trip
On 25th September,
14 JYAs went for an overnight camping in DUSUN ECO RESORT near Bukit
Tinggi, Pahang. This was a first for many of them. After trekking up
hill from the resort propoer, we reached a campsite in the middle of
the jungle. They were taught how to cook their own dinner and breakfast
and we all had great food which included BBQ chicken for dinner and
toast bread for breakfast. They had a fantastic time learning to rough
it out and look after themselves in the wilderness. Aunty Janet and
her trainers - Bryan, Amrik, Ester, as well as Uncle Raja were on hand
to supervise and look after the JYAs.
