Say “No!” to Black Metal

"Black Metal Grows in Malaysia!" newspaper's headlines flash across front pages. News stations all over the land boom reports and results of investigations. The police force busily interrogates gang members to track down the culprit behind this evil force which is rapidly creeping into the heart of Malaysia.

            This popular cult is actually a satanic group of fanatics who propagate bad influence and immorality into youth, mostly. As effective as music is, this vast form of expression, namely hard-core and heavy metal sounds did well in its part to draw people' s attention to the cult. I, as a Christian, can almost read what lies in the depths of the sinful minds if Satan's followers -surely sound doctrine would not work its way into the souls of these young people, but music will. So, Black Metal plays its music as dear worship to the Prince of Darkness. Lucifer himself was an expert and a fervent lover of music. He produced the highest form of great music. That's why this medium to reach out to lost souls never failed him.

            Before a worship session started, the members would step on Holy Books and burn the Quran as a sign of the non-existence of the good force, or rather, Holy Spirit. Logos, hand signals, tattoos and miscellaneous were implemented to plant the seed of their culture into the inmost bring of their devoted members. A black goat would be sacrificed as an offering to their audience - Satan. Then, everyone would drink that blood.

            One would be able to recognize its members from their uncommon attire. Long hair, bloodshot eyes and bearded chins become significant physical attributes. Materials of pitch-black coat the extremist from head to toe, from hair to nails. To top it all, scarves and bandanas wrap their foreheads. Some wear caps, too. As they say, how you appear reflect the person you are inside.

            This anti-religion teaching encourages the immoral value of fornication. " Free sex" , they call it. With them, you get to the highest stage of immorality. Evil-doers and slanderers they are.

            I strongly oppose the activities of Black Metal cult. In my opinion, there' s not even a single glimpse of moral value instilled in its members. I believe that when one becomes yoked to joining evil, one is doomed forever to hell because the evil spirit lives in him. To withdraw from this eternal condemnation would bring unending difficulties and obstacles to overcome.

            What would become of our future generation if this cult continues to perpetuate and build a firm foundation in our country? To handle the situation, we firstly need to know what the causes are and how it develops.

            We, Asians are too easily influenced by the way the Westerners live. Despite having a very interesting and distinguished culture, Asians always tend to lean towards the West. Trends, cultures, language, accent, dress code, music and what not, they are duplicates of the Americans, here.    

            Of all the other multiple races in Malaysia, boys of teenage age are the most supportive group of the community. For reasons unknown, these teenagers face a lot of depression and emptiness inside. They barely have any idea what they are heading into. It is kind of sad, isn' t it?

As I conclude, I urge the authorities to take immediate action to track down the main people bring this syndicate and then, disperse the group. Religious organizations should take up the responsibility to develop better human-beings to save the world from falling
